Utah

Johnathan's Aunt and Uncle from Rhode Island came to Utah to visit and we hadn't seen them since we were dating so we thought we would head to Utah to see them and the rest of the family. Johnathan had to work so unfortunately we didn't see him as much

Right when we got there Johnathan met up with his rep to work so I headed up to Park City with Kim and Emily, Johnathan's parents, and aunt and uncle.

It is so beautiful up there. I hadn't been there in a long time I had forgotten what a cute little town it was. If only it was later in the fall so all the trees would be orange and red and pretty. I miss the fall living in California.

We found this cute little cow store with everything cow. Even a giant one that Emily and Kieran wanted to ride. Every time we took Kieran off he would want right back up.

Kim, Emily, and Kieran walking around town

They have this cool little trolley that takes you around for free you get on and off whenever

Then that night Johnathan's parents had a BBQ at there house with there relatives and South African friends. The two girl cousins Jade and Emily.

The three boys up to no good in the bird seed. Kieran, Milo (second cousin), and Liam

Little boys are so funny with there rocks, and cars, and dirt, etc.

All four grandkids, Jade, Emily, Kieran, Liam. I wish we lived closer Kieran had so much fun playing with his cousins

Saturday morning we headed to Cabela's for the kids. I had never been there, it is HUGE. Kieran had fun seeing all the animals and the big fish tank.

Grandpa and Grandma Brandon with Kieran

We went to Payson for a BBQ at Janice and Jory's. Jade took Kieran on a ride in her John Deer. Too cute! He loved it.

I love Jade in this picture

After the BBQ we toasted Marshmallows in there fire pit. Reminded me to never take Kieran camping for a few years, he just wanted to jump in the fire the whole time.

Jory holding Liam. Liam was just to tired for the bonfire and went to bed.

Sunday we went with my parents to Temple Square to hear the choir. We had to sit in a special room since we had Kieran. He didn't last the whole time of course, he is just to busy. But he did manage to find some sticks.

The only thing about traveling is this little guy doesn't get much sleep. He was spent.

Cupcake contest

Johnathan's birthday was on the 1st of September and to celebrate he decided he wanted a cupcake party/contest. It was so much fun. A lot of people came. There was about 14 cupcake entries and they were all delicious. They weren't your average cake box cupcakes either, they were Martha Stewart quality. Johnathan even make certificates for the winners and a little trophy made out of a mini whisk.

My embarrassing disaster. I tried to make a giant carrot cupcake but when I put them together the top slid off the bottom so it tasted good but looked like a wreck.

Jessica Olsen got Best in Show for her Strawberry cupcakes

Kate Spjute got Best Design for her peanut butter chocolate cupcakes

Caroline Gonzales got Most Original for her cupcake pops

It was a really fun night. Maybe we will make it a tradition for his birthday.

Just Cruisin

Kieran had his cute neighbor friends over to play. They drove around those cars for like an hour. Too cute.

Finger paints

Kieran painted a picture for dad for his birthday and he had a blast doing it.

The Buggy

Johnathan and I enjoy going on walks/jogs on the beach. Well we attempt to go at least 3 or 4 times a week in the evening and they usually end like this...

Kieran HATES riding in his stroller and always has. We even bought The BOB thinking he might like to go fast in the jogger....but no. He thinks its much more enjoyable to push than ride. Ohh and don't even think about helping him stear he will push your hand away.

So I have been seeing these cars around at the parks and such and every time Kieran see one he runs over and jumps in for a ride. We decided to buy one if we want to continue our walks. And what do you know he loves going on walks now. He hops right in on his own. The faster the better is how Kieki likes it.

Best purchase by far! Oh yes and he got a hair cut if you notice in the second picture...the euro fauxhawk.

Trash Day

This is where you will find Kieran every Tuesday. He loves the garbage truck and makes a mad dash to the window every time he hears it coming and stands on his tippy toes to see. (or goes outside if the door is open.)
