Nesting

Yeah that's me and my big fat belly! I am now 36 weeks and ready to have the baby! Well I think I am. At least I am ready to not be pregnant, I don't know about this two kid thing.

 

We got new outdoor furniture and got them all stained. A kiddy picnic table, seats for under the tree. (not quite the blue we expected but it will do for now), and not picture an adult picnic table.

 

We got the garden fixed up from the winter and rain. Now we just need to do the veggie garden.

 

And we got new drawers for the baby. I got all the clothes out washed and cleaned.

 

Ready baby, well almost, I just have a few more things too do before he comes!

Spring Training.....Arizona

We decided to have a little weekend getaway. And what better way than to go to spring training. Despite the long car ride we had a great time.

 

First stop General Patton Museum. We gave Kieran a little break from being restless in the car and he loved the BIG TANKS. I wish I could record how is says big tank and big truck and put it on here, it is priceless.

 

First game Chicago Cubs vs. Cincinnati Reds. Front row tickets and beautiful weather. Kieran even got a ball from that Hall of Famer in the picture.



Coincidentally we found out my grandparents were in town as well. So we met up with them to say hi. Kieran's best buddy Stockton is Roxie's great grandson and they were in town as well for Sring Training, so we all got together.

 

We got to see Krista too, one of my best friends from high school.

 

Can't get much closer than that to the players. We got front row tickets to the Dodgers game as well. After all that is who we came to see. It was really cool sitting so close.


Kieran held his hat to his chest and was ever so still for the whole national anthum, little cutie.




I think a new tradition has started in the Brandon Family.

Love You Dad

Johnathan was trying to get Kieran to say Love You and one day he whispered it to Kieran and he whispered it back it his ear. Now when Johnathan goes to work or whenever he gives him a hug without prompting he whispers Love You Dad. It is so sweet and he will only do it with Johnathan. If by some chance I get him to whisper to me he still says love you dad. Little things like that just melt my heart he is so sweet.

Simple Pleasures

Some friends and I went to the zoo today. This was one of the most exciting parts of the zoo for the kids. I love how excited they get from little things like this.

GRANDMA COMES FOR A VISIT

Johnathan had to go to Arizona last week for a few days (like usual) but we had a free ticket from all that flying he does so we booked my mom a ticket to stay with Kieran and I while he was got plus a few extra days. Kieran LOVED grandma! And he really loved all the attention he got from her. You see Kieran is a funny little kid and loves to be in charge and get attention so everywhere he went he would say "C'mon, C'mon, grammy," and would grab her hand, and take he where he wanted to go. And of course she would follow because she also loved that he loved her. It was so funny. All week was like this and if I would come in the room where they were playing Kieran would look over, and with his little finger shaking at me would say firmly NO!! GO!! He didn't want me around when they were having fun together.

 

We went to feed the ducks and to park day with Kieran's friends.

 

We went to the beach. The weather was perfect! My mom was soaking up the sun since she soon had to be back to cold Idaho, and I couldn't keep Kieran out of the ocean. He was running all over and we would run from the waves. I love that he had such a good time, but I sure got a work out.

 

We had to go to Redondo Pier since my mom hasn't stopped talking about the seafood ever since last time she was in town. We walked around, Kieran chased the birds, and then had some tasty sea food.

It was a fun week with grandma, we wish she lived closer. Johnathan and I even got to go the a movie alone. We miss you grammy especially Kieran.
