5 months

Little Rhys Piece is is not so little any more. He is already 17lbs!

He is getting close to sitting up. He always wants to but is still wobbly.

That is classic Rhys he is always smiling and laughing!
They are starting to become friends now it is so cute. Kieran makes him laugh all the time and gives him kisses. The other day Rhys was laying on the bed, Kieran was suppose to be napping and he came into our room up on the bed and kissed Rhys and said "love you Rhys Piece" It was so sweet, I didn't even care that he was not napping.

Perfect Day

The other morning we packed the kids up and headed to Terranea Resort, a new resort located in Rancho Palos Verdes. Johnathan had dinner their a few nights earlier so we thought we would check it out in the day light. It was beautiful up there.

We hiked around, and saw some whales.

A nice little beach with cabanas, and chairs. There were quite a few scuba divers around. Which Kieran thought was quite facinating.


The resort is amazing to with a golf course, spa huge pool, nice restaurants. I think I know where I want to have a kid free getaway!


After dinner we went down to Manhattan Beach Pier to watch the sunset.

We are so lucky to live so close the the beach, it is beautiful here.

Los Angeles Temple

KIERAN TALKING

Today we went to Target a regular outing with me and the boys. We got out of the car and there was a cart right by us I said "Kieran do you want that cart or do you want to find the big one?" Kieran "That one mommy, nice and clean, nice and clean mommy" with a big smile on his face.


Often times when he sees pretty much anything that is blue he say I love it, blue one, its my favorite. Half laughing with a smile on his face, pointing at whatever he sees that is blue, a truck, motorcycle, my shirt, anything.

First Day of School

.....actually mommy and me class, but its still school.

Kieran is not the best eater so we tell him he needs to eat to get strong muscles to ride his bike fast.

Labor Day

For some reason we thought it would be a good idea to go to Disneyland on Labor Day....and apparently everyone else thought it was a good idea too. It was pretty busy and hot, but we were with good company. So we had a good time.


Its a small world, with Hamilton, and Stockton

Rhys liked it too.


The three boys are just tall enough to go on Matterhorn so we thought of course we have to take them. Preggo Kylee watched the two babies, Rhys and Beckett while the rest of us took Hamilton, Stockton, and Kieran on the ride.


.......this is what Stockton thought of it! Kieran didn't like it either and was crying when we got off. I guess they still are a bit young. The ride is really jerky and fast and goes in a dark mountain with a scary monster looking at you. On the other hand Hamilton did really enjoy it, he's a brave little guy.


Then we took a little break from Disneyland and headed over to the Peck's for a yummy BBQ.

Then we went back to Disneyland, well California Adventures to kill a couple hours before the Angles baseball game.


I thought this was hilarious....Kieran loved having him on his shoulders and started walking around, Rhys not so much.


We met up with some friends and ended the day with an Angles game. What a long, long day, but we love it.

Rhys 4 months

A little late posting about his 4 months but our camera was broken.
Still such a good, happy baby.
Loves watching Kieran, Kieran makes him laugh all the time.
ALWAYS is smiling and cooing and laughing.
Takes nice a nice long nap the same time as his brother almost everyday.




Kieran came up beside Rhys and did this all on his own. He has been a lot nicer with him lately, kissing him etc. He still gets jealous telling Rhys very sternly "That's my mommy!" But he is getting used to him and I think kind of likes him around.

Kieran had been in a big boy bed for about a month now. I was nervous about making the change but it had been such a GOOD change. He is finally back to a nice bed time routine. And he puts himself down for his naps sometimes which is awesome. He does however wake up in the middle of the night and come stand at the top of the stairs into our bedroom inches away from Rhys sleeping yelling for mommy.

Lightning McQueen is on his pillow case.....he makes sure his head is on Lightning every night, and I get to lay in Chick while I read to him.

JOHNATHANS BIRTHDAY part 2- The Party

So for Johnathan's birthday party we hired a taco cart to come make tacos. Let me tell you they were amazing, and it was so nice to have a party at our house and somebody else is doing all the cooking and clean up. (Well I guess its usually Johnathan doing the grilling and not me but you know what I mean.)

This lady made a few hundred tacos!

Since last years cupcake contest was such a success we decided to do it annually. In addition to the taco cart, we had our second annual cupcake contest.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOHNATHAN Part 1

Johnathan's birthday was September 1st. He took the day off to spend 'his day' with the family. We started off right by eating at our favorite sandwich place Big Mike's in El Segundo.


Then we went to the happiest place on earth....Disneyland. We got annual passes and our blackout days are finally through. It was such a nice day, no lines anywhere.

Kieran got to meet Mickey Mouse so he was excited.
