6 months

Rhys just turned 6 months, and I can't believe he is 1/2 a year already! He is such a sweet little boy and we love having him around! It is so fun to see him and Kieran interact the older he gets. And he sure does love his big brother.


We tried out the swings for the first time the other day and he loved it. He was laughing and laughing the whole time.


Today we started rice cereal, he liked it today we will see if this continues.

Rhys.....

-super sweet
-laughs out loud regularly
-smiles all the time
-got the stomach flu/diarhea this last month:( poor little guy
-started waking up a lot at night (hopefully due to his sickness and will get over that)
-is quite the drooler
-gets scared of some people when they try to hold him and gets the cutest biggest frown and bursts into tears

Goodbye Sunshine

For those of you who don't know our bird Sunshine died on Sunday. She was attacked by raccoons during the night. Somehow they managed to open the cage and get Sunshine. Well I have been feeling really bad about this, because I know if I would have taken better care of them this wouldn't have happened.

So I have been supper nice to Petey, taking extra good care of him, and have been talking to him a lot, because I think he was scared and now lonely.

Also we got Petey and new friend, Sunshine II. Hopefully they get along.

Sorry Sunshine for your short life, I promise to be a better pet owner.

Las Vegas

Two weekends ago Johnathan had a conference in Las Vegas and I thought it was be fun to come along and bring the kids. (Note to self for future*** Vegas is not for kids especially toddlers and babies)

It actually turned out to be pretty fun despite the fact we didn't get any sleep, and no we were not up gambling, but between Kieran hitting his head on the wall all night and Rhys waking up for who knows what the nights quickly turned into morning.

While Johnathan was setting things up for the conference the boys and I checked out the Bellagio. Kieran and I watching the cool water show.



The beautiful flowers at the front desk. The flowers are always so stunning at all the hotels!

The atrium was very festive for fall with a lot of real huge pumkins, and 'fields' of fall colored mums. The little green house was full of just orchids which I loved since I am an orchid.

Friday morning grandma Beck joined us to hang out with me durning the day and watch the kids at night so I could go with Johnathan to his dinner meetings! Yeah for grandmas. We picked her up and headed out to the temple, I thought I had never seen it but mom was quick to remind me I was there with them once years ago.

Kieran checking out chocolate fountain. So of course he wanted chocolate after seeing this, I gave it. Don't worry about it only $9 for THREE chocolates. What was I thinking.


We got to stay at Encore Wynn which was soo nice. Kieran and I went swimming Saturday morning while grandma and Rhys watched by the pool.

No he did not really eat the rib, but it was pretty funny when Johnathan handed him the bone.


We all enjoyed a frozen hot chocolate from the famous Serendipity. I'll have to say it was tasty but a little over rated. I guess we didn't get the cool mug it usually comes in maybe that's why.





All fancied up for our night out. Saturday we ate at Bradley Ogden in Ceasars Palace. The food was amazing one of the best places I have ever eaten.

Early Sunday morning we loaded up the kids and grandma and headed home to LA. Grandma got to stay an extra few days with us in LA. Thanks for coming mom and helping us out with the kids. Kieran misses you.

Matching

I don't know if I am the only one that does this but frequently I ACCIDENTALLY dress me and my kids in the same colors. I seriously do it without thinking. I will get dressed then get Kieran and Rhys dressed, and shortly after I will look and one of them, then look and me, and what do you know we are in the same colors, ahhh. Maybe I just am thinking in those colors that day I don't know, or maybe I am just crazy.
