Christmas Break

Johnathan got the week off after Christmas so we wanted to squeeze in all the fun we could despite the not so great weather...well for California that is.

We headed down to San Diego to the Wild Animal Park. I have been wanting to go there for quite some time just never got around to it. We got there and ended up saving money by getting a season pass so we will be back for sure.

The lion sleeping on the car. Lions sleep up to 20 hours a day, I had no idea.

Johnathan said the landscape reminded him of South Africa.

The Gorilla's.

We also went to Knott's Berry Farm. I love it there they have such a great kids area. I guess you can say we are a bit spoiled living in So. California with all the fun theme parks, and zoo's, etc.

Kieran had to pump that himself around the track, I wish I would have got it on video.

After lunch we took off, Kieran and Rhys were starting to break out with red spots of hand foot and mouth. Luckily they had a mild case and weren't too bad at all.

New Year's Eve we went to Johnny's Pastrami in Culver City and sat out by the fire. There Pastrami is awesome I should have got a picture of that as well.

Johnathan got to go to the Rose Bowl Game for a once in a life time opportunity with a couple of his friends, thank you Eric Palmer.

Happy Anniversary

Five years ago today Johnathan and I were married! Five years seems like the first real milestone in a marriage.

I think back to the day we got married and remember how stressed we were and couldn't relax for even a moment. We got married in the Salt Lake Temple in the morning, got pictures, then rushed to the reception location to finish setting everything up for the night. I remember how excited and nervous and anxious I was. I was closing one chapter of my life and opening another.

We started off in a dream fantisy and back packed around Thailand for a month....amazing experience. Then we resided in Utah for a few months, worked, went to the gym, drove Johnathan's scooter everywhere together, and were frequently cited at Macey's. Ahh the good old days! Johnathan soon got his job with Warner Chilcott and we moved to California. We were excited about the move, and nervous of the unknown.

Now we have two beautiful boys, and I have an amazing, one of a kind, husband and best friend. And we are still madly in love. :)

Christmas Day

This was our first year having Christmas alone with just our own little family. We missed everyone but it was nice having Christmas at our home, and start our own family traditions. I love having a little boy in our home, it brings the magic out in Christmas. To see the excitement and joy he gets when he saw what Santa brought and opening all his other presents. We had so much fun together.

Santa's was good to my boys!

Kieran has known exactly what he wanted for a while now. And he thought of it all on his own. So he was so excited to see Santa brought him a scooter.

Rhys piece didn't know what to think of it all, he liked all the toys and boxes and paper though.

Rosie, our neighbor Kieran loves, got him this wagon. So we took it for a ride around the neighborhood.

Kieran trying out his new leaf blower with daddy.

Rhys going for a ride.

After a day full of fun and play, and a family nap:)(my favorite). We had some friends over for dinner. I neglected to take photos of that though.

Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!
