Ready or Not

We'll post some pictures from Our Christmas Trip to Utah and then Idaho. It was a lot of Fun, but first the big news. We broke the story to our Respective parents on Christmas morning to my parents, and the day after Christmas we flew up to Boise to not only surprise Mackenzie family but, tell them as well. We bought a grandparents brag book for each new Grandma, and had put in them some pictures of there already grand kids followed by a couple of ultrasound pictures of our new baby. We also found out really early at 12 weeks that we are going to have a boy. We are thrilled and so are the grandparents, siblings and friends that know. Mackenzie is 3 1/2 months along, it is due June 15th and no we don't have a name picked out yet. You can buy the rights to name our child for a fee, maybe we'll auction that off to raise some money for the hospital bills. Mackenzie has been feeling "pretty good", she gets really tired but luckily not sick yet or throwing up. She is really excited and will make a fantastic Mother.

I really like it and am enjoying my my "new" hobbie. I am excited to test out the new camera on my Nieces and nephew, two of whom Mackenzie and I have not even met yet. They both look very quite and tiny from pictures. You too can check them out by clicking on my sisters blogs;Kim and Todd are the new proud parents of Emily Kate born at the end of October and Janice and Jory or the new Parents of there second child and baby brother for Jade, his name is Liam Brandon. The Omelette

Oft, times I like to enjoy an omelet. This day as I awoke I did feel a little something in the air. Little did I or Mackenzie know what that day and in particular breakfast would behold.
I Diced up some turkey meat, mushrooms and threw in just a little bit of finely chopped onions. Slowly simmered them together in some olive oil, then added the egg substitute, I've been using those for some time now. They are healthier than eggs and pretty cheap from discount box stores like Costco or Sam's club.
My trick is when adding the eggs, the pan needs to be really hot, add the eggs and then After about a minute lower the temperature, this makes a very nice crust/shell that will aid in flipping the omelet at a later time. When almost done, add some cheese and let it start to melt. If you feel up to the flip, please proceed if not just use a spatula to slide it out the pan halfway and then flip over, Delicious and healthy.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

EVERYONE JOIN WITH ME IN WISHING RICHARD BRANDON(JOHNATHAN'S DAD) A HAPPY BIRTHDAY,
57 TODAY. HOPE ITS A GREAT DAY. We hope you have fun today with Gaye and Susie.

A week since then.

Sorry no pictures from this last week. It was really busy for both Mackenzie and I, with work. Her work gets really busy around the holiday season. They keep all the origonal clients but at christmas also do a lot of holiday decorations for Hannukah, Christmas and whatever other holidays people may bve celebrating this time of year. LA is very PC, everyone is sure to just say Happy Holidays, and the stores will have Hannukah, Christmas, and Kwaanza decorations up.
My work has been rather busy too, I'm trying to get as much done so I can realx and enjoy my two weeks off at Christmas. We had a dinner last night at a restuarant we really love it's been voted by Zagat many times before as one of the best Italian Restarants in LA. Called Valentino, its really good real authentic Italian, no Olive Garden, Chicken Parmesan, or Fettucini Alfredo, served here. More like, Ossobucco, Veal, Whole Grilled Italian Fish, Gnochi, and Rissotos. I took out a couple of my Doctors and it was a good dinner. Mackenzie love the dinners too so we really don't mind. We are really luck we get to eat as the best places in LA, and the best part it's free.
Its our ward progressive dinner tonight, so we are excited about that too, we're paired up with some really nice couples so it will be fun to get to know them a little better. We really like our ward.(ward= local mormon congregation usualy grouped by area and zip codes, much like aschool district)
So it's off to the gym now, its a staurday so I'm sure it will be packed.
