Johnathan had work up in Park City for a couple of days so we tagged along to spend time in Utah with family. Some of the pictures are out of order but it will have to do, I am tired of trying to put them in the right order. I am always reminded of how beautiful Utah when we go back to visit. We were able to go up some of the canyons I had never been to before. We had plenty of fun, hot summer nights and lots of cousin time for the boys! Ohh yeah and it was incredibly hot there. We get spoiled here at the beach with our perfect mild weather.:)
Taking a ride on grandpa's scooter in his astronaut costume-which doubles as his race car outfit.
Playing in Granny's backyard Gemma!
My parents showed me this beautiful place called Tibble Lake up Alpine Canyon. The little lake was crystal clear, all along the way there were picnic areas on the side of the road, that lined the creek. So the next day we went up the Canyon with all the Brandon's and had a picnic. Then drove back through the Alpine loop, stopped at Cascade Springs and Heber City for some Granny shakes.
The kids loved playing in the water and throwing rocks in the creek.
Our attempt to take a picture with all 7 Brandon grandkids together.

Shortly after we got to Cascade Springs it started pouring rain on us, so we had to rush back to the car! It made for a great drive in a lightning storm through the mountains. The boys thought in was so cool and Kieran had a hundred questions about lightning and thunder. Then we drove through Provo and reminiscenced about the early marriage days there, drove past our first apartment together.
My parents came down from Boise to see us. Which was nice of them and we all enjoyed seeing them. We met them at the Draper Temple one night walked around and then got some dinner.
Johnathan and I am the boys went up Cottonwood Canyon to Silver Lake. The cutest, most peaceful lake I have ever seen. It has a walking path that goes around the whole lake which we 'hiked' on. I can't believe all the years I have been going to Utah I had never been up some of the canyons.
Right when grandpa got home from work everyday he would take Suzie and the boys to get the mail. They loved it.
We got to be there for the 24th of July which is kind of a big deal in Utah. Pioneer Day. A lot of people get work off and they have a few parades in the Valley. We all went to the one in Spanish Fork.
The little pioneer Emily:)
We went and checked out the new City Creek Mall downtown and walked around the Temple grounds.
My sister in law Catherine and her 4 kids were in town from China. We were able to spend some time with them. We went to Bridal Veil Falls, which I drove past many times taking Johnathan to work at Sundance back years ago when we were dating and shared a car and had never once stopped. After we went to a water park.
Madieline and Kieran. Trevor wouldn't be in any pictures and Isaac and Lucas were not there.
Up at Tibble Lake with my parents.
Johnathan's sister Kim and her husband Todd hosted a mini Olympics at there house for the kids. The kids all loved the games and had so much fun.
