Caroline's Birth

Last pregnant picture.  I was in labor and we left for the hospital shortly after.

 

 

Caroline's labor and birth was completely different than I had pictured my third delivery to be.  But I guess every delivery is different and you never can predict when and what will happen.  I started having contractions on Sunday the 4th in the late afternoon, and continued late into the night.  I thought I would try to get some sleep since I knew we were probably going to be heading up to the hospital sometimes that night or in the morning.  I fell asleep for a short time and woke up in a cold sweat at midnight followed by my water breaking.  We headed to the hospital and after laboring all night she was born at 9:06am. She weighed 7 lbs 13.5oz and we were pleasantly surprised by all her long dark hair.  The boys couldn't wait to meet her so Johnathan went home to get them.  It was love at first sight for Kieran and he hasn't been able to keep his hands off her since then.  Rhys didn't want anything to do with her at first but is now growing to love his baby:) 
Thanks to my amazing doctor, Dr. Karyn Solky my recovery once again has been great!
