| Caroline dislocated her hip either in the womb or at delivery, so she has to wear a pavlik harness for a few weeks. Its nothing serious, in the old days they didn't do anything about it or would have the parents double diaper the baby. It limits the range of motion of her hip joint. It doesn't seem to bother her at all. It is just a bit annoying on our part with diaper changes and only sponge baths, and I can't wait to put a pair of leggings on her. I guess its a small price to pay for good hips later on in life.:) |

Kenzie, Lainey had that too!!! She had to wear the pavlik for 5 weeks. We have had to get her X-rays 3x to make sure everything is growing like it should be and so far so good. The doc told us her last X-ray will be at age 3. I know how hard and annoying it is and I'm sorry you have to deal with it. If you have any questions call me!!!!
